Re: Export to PowerPoint with filters applied
This is a major 'lack'. If I publish a report to my users, I would not expect them to, even have the ability, to save the report with applied settings in order to be able to export the correct report-view. I am pleased to see that the support for filters syncing across multiple report pages is now available in the February release. Also the cross filtering across multiple visuals. Persisting filter settings on a user is soon to be published in the online service. But still the filter settings are not persisted when exporting to PPT. I would expect this would be a 'quick fix' when all of the above is available in the service and application.502Views0likes0CommentsRe: Export to PowerPoint with filters applied

Re: Please make the new GROUP and BIN features work over a Live SSAS connection.
'@artur tostenco why wouldnt 'anyone need' this ? in order to enable user flexibility and avoid having to make all definitions serverside - it could very well be feasible and desirable to have this ability in Power BI Desktop. or do you disagree?646Views0likes0CommentsRe: When Power BI is embedded into SharePoint, allow filters to be preset
Personal dashboards in Sharepoint/CRM based on user identity. Common report/dashboard based on context of embedded report/dashboard. ... Many nice usecases for such ability. Also allowing on-prem sources to be embedded in CRM/Sharepoint would be good. As per now, even though users have pro licenses, the on-prem sources needs to be accessed through the portal or PowerBI app for mobile devices.884Views0likes0CommentsRe: private publish to web
making the embed link can be useful in many cases, but given open data sources in a common website, it would be useful to be able to inflict external parameters as filters, depending on the context in the website (Sharepoint or other). As you can for the API embedded reports and dashboards (both on app.powerbi.com and PowerBI embedded)601Views0likes0Comments
