Yes, it is also for us very important to show cumulative values. Especially if the data comes from stream analytics directly to powerbi it is not possible to make dax functions. So either an option or a custom visual would help a lot.

For those who are interested. FF extends technically the opportunity object. There for is no extra connector needed. Simply the SF connector can be used to get the data into powerbi.

From my view the graph would be a combination of the data calculation in the waterfall chart and then just represented as the line chart.

Visual for cumulative graph
Every groth company needs this. For sold licenses, MRR, Revenue. Very often cumulative numbers are used. It is true that you can create measures with FUNCTION... and get the values accumulated but that needs to be done in the data model. Instead of creating 20 new measures for each cumulation, it would be more easy to have this as a custom visual or when making a line chart have the option to click "sumcum" beside the option "sum" or "average". Unfortunately I am not able to code custom visuals myself right now but maybe someone could help with this and enrich with (a cumulative line chart) the powerbi custom visual galarie.

Function for easy and fast accumulation of values
Add a visual or a function to automatically show values accumulated without building new complex formulas. (with data that has more then 3 Mio. rows accumulation formulas get problems)

For all who might have this ERP system. It seems that there is no extra connecter is needed. FF is a native app to salesforce on the force.com plattform. That means that the data is stored in the salesforce data center together with the rest of SF data and can be accessed with PowerBi by using the SF connector. maybe that is also for others helpfull! Connector to FinancialForce
financialForce is the ERP system that was designed to work closely together with Salesforce. Since this is used often from IT companies it would be great to have also a connector from Excel/Powerbi to FinancialForce (from my knowledge, the connector should be very similar to the Sales Force connector since both software is build on the force.com platform)
