Enable Dynamic Format Strings for DAX Measures in Excel Pivot Tables
Currently, dynamic format strings for DAX measures, such as adding currency codes, work perfectly in Power BI reports but are not supported in Excel Pivot Tables connected to published datasets. When connecting to a Power BI dataset in Excel, the measures return only the numerical values without the dynamic formatting. This feature would greatly improve the user experience in Excel by maintaining consistent formatting between Power BI and Excel reports. It would be beneficial for users who rely on both platforms for reporting and analysis. We request the addition of support for dynamic format strings in Excel when connecting to Power BI datasets, ensuring that users can view the same formatting in both Power BI and Excel.236Views4likes2CommentsRemove transparent from visual when slicer selected
Currently, when I make a selection on the visualization itself, the color of others becomes more transparent. If I select a different value in the slicer than what I clicked on, the color still remains the same "more transparent," which is misleading since the selection has already been reset. The color should return to normal in this case at least as an option. Please refer to the linked post from the community to get more details : https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Desktop/Slicer-after-selection-in-chart/m-p/4182587141Views1like1CommentExpand Rows in Matrix Table
Hello, Could you please consider adding an option to the matrix format, such as 'Always Expand Rows in Matrix Table'? This feature would ensure that the matrix remains at the lowest level of the hierarchy. Alternatively, adding an 'Expand all' button with this functionality would greatly benefit users by reducing the number of unnecessary clicks required to access this feature.318Views17likes2CommentsSparklines tooltips
Hi, sparklines and mini-graphs are important for visualizing data. The ability to see the values of the points/columns using a tooltip, as in regular graphs, would be very helpful. It will give visual readers a complete picture, allowing them to zoom in on specific data points without adding another visualization with the same data.313Views6likes4Comments
