Running 12 Month Cash Balance with Opening Cash
I'm having trouble with an additive formula to calculate a running cash total. I have an opening cash measure that looks up the opening cash balance for that month in an Opening Cash table. For the first month I simply need to add Opening Cash + Operating Revenue + Operating Expenses to find the End Balance. I'm having trouble getting the End Balance from Month 1 to carry over as a Beginning Balance in Month 2 and so on. Below is my current matrix visual, missing the Beginnning Balance measure, a breakdown of the measures, and a sample of the data and structure. I would appreciate any help. I have a table of Investors which includes their InvestorID and which funds they have invested in ('FundName') and the year of the Fund ('FundYear'). I am trying to solve for, given a subject Fund (chosen by a slicer), how many investors overlap between each Fund in the Table and the Subject Fund. I tried to make a calculated table filtered by a parameter, but I have to use imported data and so I couldn't get the calculated table to filter dynamically with the parameter. I know I need to create essentially a filtered table by the Subject Fund and check if each investor record ('InvestorID') exists in the filtered table and the Input Data table so I can get my "Investors from Subject Fund" count. My report is much more complicated than this but I've included a sample set of data below.Picture Tagging from Power BI Dataset
We are setting up an image bank in Sharepoint. We would like to add an ID column to our picture tags that could act as a lookup column for data stored in a power bi dataset. We are having trouble finding the best way to create a Sharepoint List from our Power BI Dataset in order to create the returning lookup column.
