Hi my company sells peerishable goods that have a shelf life of 8 day. i am trying to find a way to reduce onhand inventory from the oldest date forward in this example i have the following columns 1. pick date (date when flower was picked 2. name is name of product 3. quantity picked 4. outdate, is calculated to be 8 days from pick date 5. Stock is what is available to sell within the 8 day, if older then 8 days, 0 available stock = if([Pick_Date].[Date]>=today()-8,[Picked],0) 6. production, is the quantity sold i need a way to add a column called "Available" that looks at the oldest out date and begins reducing stock in this example the new colum called Available would calculate the results as follows Advanced thanks for all that can help.how to set an expiry date and update values
Hi I would like to discuss using a bi report to show availability for our cut flower department. The process is as follows Date = pick date Name = crop type (Standard, Mini, Piccolini) Picked = quantity picked PO Quantity = amount sold on a Purchase Order Cooler is calculated = Picked – Purchase Orders Cooler = (SUM('Aug19'[Picked]) -SUM('A_BayJor_Availability'[PO_QTY])) Available = what is in the cooler but greater then 0 Available = if([Cooler]<0,0,[Cooler]) Out_Date = Date + 7 Out_Date = (Aug19[Date]+7) Toss = the amount in the cooler 7+days old to be thrown out (in this example the amount to Toss should be 9501) The Amount thrown away should be subtracted from the cooler quantity, in this example Cooler should be 0
