Re: Allows Slicers to apply to all Pages of a Report
But is needed Filtering overall lets Power BI down badly. It has been improved a lot (esp with slicer search) but still a long way to go.The right hand side filters are poor. There is no link between different filters. So if I make a selection on the side filters or a say bar chart it doesn't reflect in the slicers. And there isn't a box to show filters made. And to remove all filters if required. So rather than continuing to do improvements piecemeal I would prefer that they reconsider what is required and how best to achieve this.574Views0likes0CommentsRe: Search my filter values in a dashboard
I demoed Power BI to one potential user. Not impressed with searching and filtering. I'm really at a lost to understand how they felt this rubbish solution is suitable. It's obvious what's needed. A good starting point only is Excel.763Views0likes0CommentsRe: Massively Improve Filtering and Searching
One way this could be achieved would be to include two extra botton under the left hand side bar (only appearing when report is being used say under a line 1 A filter made section. If this is clicked a box would appear on top of the report should filters made in both filters the slicer. A rub it out option would be available for either all or just one and 2 a selection option. This would operate just like the fields filter but would also include the requirement shown above ie > < <> ,multi selections etc. NB Clocking again would close or clicking on the report338Views0likes0CommentsRe: Massively Improve Filtering and Searching
And it should be possible to include these filters either on the sheet with the visualizations or on the side bar as required. And both should be totally integrated. So if a selection is made for a customer in say a table then this selection should also show in any other customer filter.338Views0likes0Comments
