create area chart with green and red colors to indicate profit and loss
I have created area chart that that shows profit and loss % over time. I would like to show the loss (negative part) in red color and the profit ( positive part) in geen color. i created 2 measures one for profit % and one for loss % positive p&l = var pl=[p&l %] var result= IF(pl>0 , pl,0) return result negative p&l = var pl=[p&l %] var result= IF(pl<0 , pl,0) return result when i added the measures in the chart it looked like: any idea on how to create the area chart with green/red colors instead of 1 color
Visual Filter TopN bug? - Only show first record in a visual based on a column
I have a table visual with a column 'names'. I have a second visual as a progress bar chart which should only show a measure for one person at a time: If no name is selected the first name from the table list (ordered asc by name) or the name that is selected from the table. I have tried to achive this by using the visual filter funtion TopN and filter 1 by name, but it always shows the measure for the last name, even if I sort by FIRST or LAST. I have tried using a numeric column that is sorted by the name column and using MIN or MAX. It always shows me the measure for the last name. It looks like that TopN in the visual filter setting is not working correctly. Are my settings for TopN incorrect or is there another way to achieve that?

Hi All, There are 6 visuals on the page which display line chart for "no of orders" over time( month by month) a team receives. for example Team consists of 10 salesmen. To compare, the requirement is to let user select upto 6 salesmen. Based on the selection of user, for exampe if user chooses 4 sales men, we wanted to show 4 visuals. There are other ways to compare too but just wanted to stick with this idea to keep 6 visuas per page and show only no of visuals based on no of salesmen seleted. Hey everyone, i've just started in power bi and im having trouble with some calculations, for starters i just nee to calculate and graph the On Time KPI foe my company deliveries. I have scheduled delivery date and time with low and high limits as first set of data, an then i have the real delivery date and time, everything identified by a unique delivery ID. I basically need to calculate compliance % in 3 levels (Early, on time, and late) and graph them by date hierarchy. My data structure is as follows: Guide Min Time of Arrival Max Time of Arrival Arrival Time On Time On Time (groups) 12345 11/11/2020 06:00 11/11/2020 07:00 11/11/2020 05:00 Early On Time 23456 11/11/2020 06:00 11/11/2020 07:00 11/11/2020 06:30 On Time On Time 34567 11/11/2020 06:00 11/11/2020 07:00 11/11/2020 14:00 Late Late On Time - Column is the result of the following calculation: (which i added in Power Query using M while transfoirming my data) = Table.AddColumn(#"Extract - Hora Creación", "On Time", each if [Tiempo Llegada] < [Tiempo Min Entrega] then "Anticipado" else if [Tiempo Llegada] > [Tiempo Max Entrega] then "Retraso" else "On Time") On Time (groups) - just groups early and on time for practical purposes my company considers both as acceptable, so if the sum of both is greater than 70% everything is ok. I tried the following dax formula for the measure im trying to graph and it does. On Time KPI = CALCULATE(COUNT(Beetrack[On Time]),ALLEXCEPT(Beetrack,Beetrack[Tiempo min entrega].[Día],Beetrack[On Time])) / CALCULATE(COUNT(Beetrack[On Time]),ALLEXCEPT(Beetrack,Beetrack[Tiempo min entrega].[Día])) The problem here is the resulting graphs cant be affected by any filter, and cant be drilled down/up by any date hierarchies, so i cant show monthly nor annual nor weekly values. I also cant highligt the same data when i click on other graphs in the dashboard to segment the data. Is there any other way to achieve the same calculation dynamically? so i can get the values by date hierarchies? and that the graph is not always static?How to show the bottom N in visual card
Hi I try to figure out how to show in Visual Card the Bottom N sales person, so i created 2 measures Count Sales Amt Visual Card result shoul be "Johnny Bi" but card show only the first sales person. I try to use the TOPN but still first sales person appear. pls. help
Show SelectedYear and Future Years data in Bar Chart
Hi, My Report has date_dim and benefits_fact table which has measure benefits along with Year & Month columns I have three pages report with different views(hard coded filters of other dimensional columns). I have Year slicer from date dimension on all three pages and sync is in tact when one slicer is selected in any page all of them pages filters by selected year. In one of the pages, I have a bar chart which needs to displayed with selected year and plus 3 future years .. For example if year 2020 is selected then I need to show 2020,2021,2022,2023 and if year 2021 is selected I need to show 2021,2022,2023,2024. How can I achieve this via DAX . Please help or guide me with an approach Thanks Jayden
