Need help with a DAX measure issue, that doesn't filter correctly.
hi Guys/Girls I've got a measure [FilteredTotal] & [Total], and i'd like to create a measure that returns the value from [Total] when the filter is active on the page, or else if filte is not active return the value for [FilteredTotal]. ConditionalTotal = IF ( ISFILTERED(ChartOfAccounts[Name]), [Total], [FilteredTotal] ) but this doesn't really work, because the value for [Total] still shows when no filter is chosen. what might be the problem? please ask if you need more info to answer/help
Currency conversion with currency and year filters
I have 4 tables downloaded from the bank regarding exchange rates (CurrencyRates_2020,CurrencyRates_2021, etc.) in which there are columns with currencies, months and exchange rates, in the finance table there are columns amounts, inflows, outflows, date. I also added a table that contains currency column that I used to create the filter. What I would like to do is create a measure for amounts, outflows and inflows that will convert to the currency selected by the filter in the year selected by the filter. I've only written the part for the selected currency , but I don't know how to add a date filter. I would like it to fetch me data from the file "CurrencyRates_2021" when I select the date 2021 etc. I wanted to add at the beginning IF(AND(ISFILTERED('Currency'[Currency]),ISFILTERED('Consulting Finance'[Year]) [...] But I have no idea what to write next.Tell if a visual on page has a filter
I want to create a measure that disaplays a subtitle in particular visual depending on if its filter by a field. We have a filed isopen which is 0 or 1. I want this measure to work across multiple different visuals that use the isopen field and be able to evaluate the filter contex of that visual on the same page and change subtitle accordingly for example. Below two cards one showing open Inciodents other show closed requests both using the same isopen field. The open, closed subtitle is on seprate card and id like it show below the tile based on filter context of that visual. Not the table or page and without the need to a apply the same filter context to subititle card to display this. +----------+ +----------+ : Incident : : Requests : : Open : : Closed : : 85 : : 25 : +----------+ +----------+ I can easily create indervisual measures for each title which i did as an intial test but this is waste and trying to reduce number of measures.

I'm trying to replicate this filter selection card: https://p3adaptive.com/2018/02/using-selectedvalues-capture-power-bi-slicer-selections/ but putting two different columns from two different tables in a same "filter identifier visual card" To do this, I need to modify the following function: Employee Sales Region Selection = IF( ISFILTERED(‘Employee Details'[Employee Team Name]), CONCATENATEX(VALUES (‘Employee Details'[Employee Team Name]), [Employee Team Name], “,”), “No Selection”) My idea is that instead of a single column (‘Employee Details'[Employee Team Name]), two different columns are attached in this function (‘Employee Details'[Employee Team Name], ‘Expense Ratio'[Expense Ratio]) Regards and Thanks!SWITCH and ISFILTERED combination
