Data reduction algorithm
Hi, im working on custom visual that returns this error: "too many 'Task No' values" Not displaying all data. Filter the data or choose another field." I tried to fix this according the data reduction algorithm: https://github.com/mvgaliev/PowerBI-visuals/blob/942d72065ec6703878249d32cb8df41a00827750/Capabilities/DataViewMappings.md The error is due to "tasks". so i tried this: (on capabilities.json) "categorical": { "categories": { "select": [ { "for": { "in": "Task" } , "dataReductionAlgorithm": { "top": { "count": 30000 } } }, { "for": { "in": "Parent" } }, { "for": { "in": "StartDate" } }, { "for": { "in": "Resource" } } ] }, "values": { "group": { "by": "Legend", "select": [ { "for": { "in": "EndDate" } }, { "for": { "in": "Duration" } } ] } } } But it seems to have no affect. I also tried to set property to "window" or "bottom" and reduce count.Variant graph of "chord graph"
Hello , There is a graph "chord graph" to show the movement between 2 class or clusters. It's this graph : https://github.com/microsoft/powerbi-visuals-chord . I Think that is very interesting to add an additional elements of information like this : Red arrow : show the sum of movement Yellow : only the part of out flow Black : only the part of in flow It's to compare the in VS out VS sum and the importance of the "flow". If it's a " little " or "big" flow , in case of migration for example. With the current "chord graph" it's impossible to divide the "package" of in and of out. There is an only group.
