Welcome to the Power BI April 2023 Monthly Update!
We are happy to announce that Power BI Desktop is fully supported on Azure Virtual Desktop (formerly Windows Virtual Desktop) and Windows 365. This month, we have updates to the Preview feature On-object that was announced last month and dynamic format strings for measures. We have additional features in Reporting, Data Connectivity, Service, Paginated Reports, Mobile, and Visualizations.

What exactly does "Power BI Desktop is fully supported on Azure Virtual Desktop" mean? Is there now a different client to use for that enviornment, should it be via .msix app attach, will any old version work etc..
We've been running it in AVD for over a year now and in a full desktop environment it's fine. Slow to open but still works reliably well. As an attached app it's much more buggy compared to things like Tabular Editor that just work.
