At first glance, it looks simple — just a cleaner way to open multiple Fabric items.
But look closer 👀 — there are tricks and surprises hidden in this new UI that can really change how you work!
The new Multi-Task UI lets you open and switch between notebooks, reports, pipelines, and other objects without spawning new browser tabs. It keeps everything organized in one workspace, helping you stay focused and productive.
In this short video, I’ll show you how it works — and a few smart shortcuts that make it even better than it looks.
🎥 Watch it now and discover how the new Fabric interface makes multitasking effortless.

Thanks for sharing this update — the new Multi-Task UI looks promising. I’m curious about a few things:
Which improvements in responsiveness or layout should we expect compared to the previous UI?
Will this update be rolled out gradually or require manual activation in the user settings?
For teams already using the older UI, will their existing workflows stay intact, or might there be compatibility adjustments needed?
Looking forward to trying it out and seeing how it impacts collaboration.
I'm late answering this, but:
We don't need so many tabs anymore, we can complete the work with a few browser tabs with many multi-task tabs in each one
It's automatically available.
It's a user choice if this feature will be used or not. The feature is only available in Fabric mode, in power bi mode, the old format continues.
