workspace cannot be reassigned because it includes Fabric items
Hi
We have multiple premium capacities and were in the process of migrating some key workspaces to a dedicated capacity when we received the following error on a Production workspace
"workspace cannot be reassigned because it includes Fabric items or you're attempting to move them across regions."
We know its not the region because its the same an many other workpaces have already been transferred. The only difference is that this workspace contains dataflows which we assume are the "fabric item". We came up with a lengthy stategy to recreate new dataflows on the new capacity relink the datasets then delete them on the existing capacity before moving but then on the test workspace we noticed that we could actually transfer the whole workspace (including test dataflows) without issue. Why does it not work for Production, what are the fabric items if they're not the dataflows? I'd rather not relink the exisiting reports as they're 24/7 finance reports and we can't have much downtime so any guidance on this would be appreciated.
Thanks

To get to the bottom of Why?, you would need to create a support ticket with Microsoft and get them to investigate the workspace. If you have a Premium capacity, you should get enterprise support from Microsoft.

Hi AndrewZ ,
In order to better solve your problem, we need to confirm some information with you:
First of all what capacity do you mean by proprietary capacity and then what level of storage account are you using for the dataflow you created.
Here is the document about limitations of dataflow
