workspace admin can not manual update dataset

Hi,

 

One of the admin of a workspace is not able to update a dataset/report on the workspace.

-The admin is not owner of the dataset.
-Use gateway for updating datasource.


With all this should not all admin of workspace be able to manually refresh the dataset??

    He needs to Take over the Gateway and verify credentials

      Tnx for reply, thats one way to do it but why do other admin are able to refresh without taking over the dataset and add their credentials?

        Maybe he is not allowed on the Gateway.

         

        By the way, you can integrate a Flow Button in your report to launch the update directly from the Canvas of the report. You will need Power Automate for it. Exemple
