when user open or report from Power Bi Service, how is the data processing and storage
- 1 year ago
Hi pennyhoho117 ,
- Data is retrieved from memory (Import) or queried live (DirectQuery) and encrypted in transit (TLS).
- Data at rest is encrypted using Microsoft-managed or customer-managed keys (Azure Key Vault).
For editing, only metadata (not datasets) is updated, and encryption remains the same during save or publish.
