visuals not appear in web
- Anonymous5 years ago
Hi Anonymous , one initial step that may be helpful in diagnosing what's going on is to hover over the "applied filters and slicers" button on the visual, to verify that there are no filters or slicers that may being inadvertently applied.
I find that occasionally, the caching that happens in Power BI Service causes unintended filters to "stick" even after republishing from Desktop, and I need to click "Reset to Default" to clear them out.
THANK YOU SO MUCH !! I helped me so much and fixed the issue. Just by playing around the filters, all the visualization appeared.
Just another query. For the below visualization, in my power bi desktop i set the due date as today (3rd Jan 2021), however when i published to power bi web, the due date autoset to 2nd Jan 2021, but refresh data is 3rd Jan 2021.
And then i tried playing around the filters, when i select due data 3rd Jan 2021, no data appears on web. Thats strange. Is possible that there is a step by step that i can ensure the due date is exactly today 3rd Jan 2021 and not a day before ?
Thank you so much.

Anonymous My suspicion is this is due to the way timezones and relative dates are handled in Power BI Service. Power BI relative date slicers/filters always use UTC time, so if you are in a local timezone that is far from UTC, "today" will not mean the same thing to you as it does to Power BI's servers.
There are numerous posts in this forum and elsewhere on potential remedies for this - I've linked a few below.
