Any instructions to resolve the situation is welcome.\

Thanks in advance

The issue you are facing could be due to the  public domain that you are using for O365 tenant is not verified . If you go ahead and verify tthe domain the isuue should get resolved .

I was using a Power BI Pro trial account. But I didn't have an Office 365 account. So was this error showing up. But when I used a trial Office 365 account of Enterprise 5 which has built in support for Power BI Pro, I was able to publish my R report. So seems like we need a Office 365 account to publish R script.

I just downloaded and published the sample R visuals PBIX file from here:

https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-service-r-visuals/

Published it and went to it and did not have any issue seeing it. Do you have a Pro account? The article above clearly states that you need to have a Pro account to interact with R visuals.

DAX is easy, CALCULATE makes DAX hard...

Dear smoupre,

thanks for your prompt reply.

I'm using PBI-PRO, I've installed it on a 64bit machine, installed gateway, followed all the instructions from:

https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-desktop-r-visuals/

and it still dosent work...

any idea?

thanks,

Oooh, what packages are you using in your R script? There are only certain supported libraries in the Service. The list of supported packages can be found at the bottom of this article:

struggling to find the domain setup location on the microsoft site.

Any pointers?

Hi,

I have this same issue, I have PRO account trial with my personal email address but don't have O365 tenant (I use my company one at home).

Does this mean I can't publish any R visuals to show off through my personal account?

I don't know if I can verifiy my domain?

Thanks for any help anyone can provide!

Matt
