Hi guys,
I created a usage metrics report in PowerBi in the desktop version using the dataset provided by the usage metrics report that I saved in my workspace, very similar to what Kasper did: https://www.kasperonbi.com/build-your-own-usage -report-with-power-bi/
After creating the report in the desktop version, I published it in my workspace, to give the company visibility of how many users actually use our workbench reports.
The big problem here is that the Report takes a long time to run, each graph takes forever to process the data and I don't understand why.
Can you help me to find a solution?
are you prefiltering the date range, say to only show the last 14 day by default?
Hello,
I appreciate the response.
Since I want to see the last three months, I did not prefilter the data.
Do you believe it will improve the performance?
Most likely yes. Go try it out.
