Hi community, I have an app, which have audiences and RLS, so in the workspace is not access to user/group. The setup is 3 audiences with 3 security groups with each rls in group and three differents reports.
Audience A -> group A -> Report A
Audience B -> group B -> Report B
Audience C -> group C -> Report C
So the user A is inside group A
The user B is inside group B
and user C is inside group B
So the issue is the user "A" share the URL App via Share button -> Copy link. The message "People with existing access to the app can use the link" to User "B"
The link is : appIDXXXXXX &reportObjectIDXXXXXX & ReportSection XXXX & ShareLink&portalSessionIDXXXXX
The user B is tryting to access to URL and show him "we couldn't fine the report"
It resolved by short url : OpenAPPID&appIDXXXXX&experience=Power_bI whitout ReportSection.......etc
Two questions:
So whats mean "reportObjectID", "ReportSection", and "SessionID"??
and if user D is inside group A could be access with "share URL" or should be the short_url?
The message "People with..." it's confusing to the users, so when the user should be use this "Share URL"?
Thanks in advance.

Hi @Peter_23 The issue occurs because the "Share URL" includes report-specific parameters, which may not work if the recipient does not have access.
Now, for the questions:
What do "reportObjectID," "ReportSection," and "SessionID" mean?
"reportObjectID" identifies a specific report in the app, "ReportSection" directs users to a particular page within the report, and "SessionID" is a temporary session identifier that may expire.
Can User D (inside Group A) access Report A via the "Share URL"?
Yes, User D can access Report A using the "Share URL" if they are in Group A. If they are not in Group A, they will get an error saying the report is not found because access is restricted.
When should users use the "Share URL"?
Users should use the "Share URL" only when the recipient already has access to the report. If the recipient does not have access, they will get an error, so the short app URL is a better option for general sharing.
