Have you tried to uninstall completely and reinstall the gateway on your computer. And please take a look at following two threads which mentioned some solutions for such an error message.

    Hi, I have uninstalled enterprise gateway and re installed on-premises gateway, it worked. Maybe the enterprise gateway is obsolete now.
