test role rls guest user
Hi,
I am trying to test role rls for guest users and nothing happens in test as role.
Is it correct that it is not possible to test rls for guest users???

Hi @,
Guest user: [email protected]
Whether the value in the table is abc_domainName.com#EXT#@ourOrganization.onmicrosoft.com data.
[email protected] , only data that belongs to the rows fully matched with this value will be displayed for him, If there is a row whose value is abc_domainName.com#EXT#@ourOrganization.onmicrosoft.com, it won’t be displayed for the user [email protected]
So, guest users email for [email protected], not abc_domainName.com #EXT#@ourOrganization.onmicrosoft.com then you could take it as UPN.

Hi! Anonymous
To test the RLS role you need to use the same ID that is being used by the guest user to log in. I haven't tested it that way but I expect it should work.
Or you can use this approach https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/guidance/whitepaper-azure-b2b-power-bi- AnonymousNot applicable
I guess/hoping that using normal email works fine RLS eventhough its not possible to test it?

How did you set the RLS up and how did you test it?
