switch back from Datagateway to oneDrive refresh

Hi.

I have a couple of dashboards getting their data from excel sheets in onedrive.

All worked well until I played with Datagateway.

The datagateway setup isn't working for me so I deleted it (powerBI shows I have no datagateways installed).

Unfortunately PowerBI (web) isn't refreshing from Onedrive anymore although the refresh is enabled. I also get warnings that the previously configured datagateway is offline .....

how can I tell PowerBI (web) that there is no gateway anymore and the only refresh is via Onedrive?

Hi @adieball,

Getting data from Excel files in OneDrive doesn't require the Gateway, they're connected directly on Power BI service. 

In your scenario, could you try removing the whole dataset on Power BI serve, then republish the original pbix file to see if it works?
