single sign on not allowing for different user credentials

I'm trying to use a different set of credentials for scheduling refresh of a set of reports, however the organisation I'm working with uses single sign-on, which appears to reject this straight away.

Has anyone successfully configured a scheduled refresh using different credentials to their own, within a tenant that has implemented single sign-on? Or is this simply a no-go?

thanks in advance!

I do not know the answer to that question but am interested in finding out the answer to this.
