sharing reports

I don't seem to able to share reports any more. I only have 5 days left on a Power BI Pro free trial. Would this be part of the reason?

Hi @brianhackett5,

Which method you used to share report, share dashboard or publish to web? Please provide more detail contents about this.

For share dashboard, the receiver also need pro license to view shared dashboards.

If publish to web, you should confirm your report not contains any features which notice in limitation list.

Limitations

Publish to web is supported for the vast majority of data sources and reports in the Power BI service, however, the following are not currently supported or available with Publish to web:

  1. Reports using row level security.

  2. Reports using Analysis Services Tablular hosted on premises.

  3. Reports shared to you directly or through an organizational content pack.

  4. Reports in a group in which you are not an edit member.

  5. "R" Visuals are not currently supported in Publish to web reports.

Publish to web from Power BI

Hi Xiaoxin,

Thank you for your reply. I've realised I was trying to share a report and not dashboard.

Problem solved 🙂

Regards,

              Brian.

While you are in the trial, you should still have full access to all Pro features.  I don't think thats likely your problem.
