sharing report with external users doesn't work - no email sent

Dear community,

I am not able to share my report with external users. After completing the share dialoge it says 'shared succesfully' but no e-mail message is received by the recipient. Also accessing the link that is on the bottom of the share dialoge results in "this report is not found or you lack access rights" for the external user.

Steps I already considered:

• I have a pro licence, so does the recipient (trial)
• I am an admin in the workspace I am in
• There is no RLS activated
• Sharing is enabled with entire organization
• Creating email subscriptions is enabled for entire  organization

If possible I would avoid logging into azure ADD every time i want to invite someone.

Anybody has any idea how to resolve this?

It will not work with Trial license.

@Anonymous Have you set yourself up in AAD with the "Guest Inviter" role? This has to be enabled in order for you to send the invitation via PBI for that user to join your tenant as a guest.
