send a report page to non-pro user

Hello all,

What the subject says: is it possible to send a certain page of a Power Bi report in service to colleagues who dont have a Power Bi licence?

For example 5 colleagues need once a month a short look of a page. No use or filtering required. Is is possible to send a screenshot or pdf-format (or something else) of the page once a month to the colleagues via e-mail? I thought of power automate or support via url link. Or is it neccessary to buy 5 pro linceces to the colleagues (in this case who would not use power bi)?

Hi @Pikachu-Power ,

Embedded your power bi report pages in PPT and you can build one power automate flow to convert it as pdf and send it as email.

Note-Before sending the email you should open your PPT online once and need to open all pages then only the data will be updated.or If you want any specific table then you can use run a query against a dataset and you can send required data to your users from that report.

Hi @Pikachu-Power ,

Direct subscription with emails to non power bi license will not be helpful as they won't be able open the report and snapshot comes form first page. We cannot select specific page for the snapshot.

But this can be automated using power automate. The exporting of power bi report to a pdf or image and sending to non power bi license users via email can be automated using Power Automate.
