secure connection to db or rest API hosted on AWS

Hi! 

 

I will like to lock down the access and limited to PowerBI services. But I cannot find any doc describe what IP address or range for PowerBI service I should setup in my VPC on AWS? Anyone ever did that? And what is the best practice here?

    Is this db hosted on cloud VM? If so, you must install Gateway (thru Azure Service Bus) so that Power BI Service can access the database properly.

     

    So you can uninstall On-Premise Gateway, or block the IP list of Microsoft Azure Datecenter. For more details, please see: On-premises data gateway
