report page tooltip not working for people I have shared my dashboard with.

Hi I have created a report page tool tip. I works perfectly fine for me in my report both in desktop and services. But at time in dashboard the tooltip changes back to orignal numeric values. I have to repin the visual in order to get the report page  tooltip in the dashboard. Where as I have shared the dashboard with one of my colleague and he is unable to see the chart in the tooltip . Can some one help me with how can I resolve this .

Based on my test, I can reproduce your issue here. I created a report page tool tip and published the report to service, it worked well in desktop and report in service. However, once I pin the tile to dashboard, I cannot see the report page tooltip as well. Here you can pin the live page to the dashboard, then the report page tool tip will work well.

I tried pinning the live page as well. I could see the tooltip as per required but when I share my dashboard with one of my colleague, he is unable to see the chart in the tool tip. Instead he is getting a normal tooltip with the vslues of the chart written in it.

Hi @RashmitaR,

Based on my test,  only the admin of the app work space could see the report page tool tip in dashboard. As members have no access to the datasets of the app work space.
