report map publish to web refresh problem

Hi,

we are using several Reports published to a sharepoint site. It would be useful for us, if we could copy values for other uses. i.e. Copying the contract number to insert it into a different tool for search.

Is this possible?

I don't think it's possible to copy out the values from file on sharepoint site directly and publish to web. However, you can "Get Data" from files on SharePoint. Use it as data source to generate a dataset and create reports/dashboard. Then you can do "Publish to Web".

Not aware of a way to do this with the Publish to Web feature, table data and other text is not selectable. Would make a good Idea: https://support.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi
