report builder - simple report second page blank issue

Please explain.  Have a simple report builder report being used to dislay a simple horizontal legend list as shown below.

The issue was resolved with body width set to less than half of report width!?   ie  body.width = 10.3cm, report.width = 21cm

Note that Report.Columns property is set to 1.  And the margins are all set to zero.

Normally blank pages are a missmatch of the body to report size which we understand but less than half this does not make sense ... yet :}   So setting body.width to 10.4cm or greater will cause the second blank page.

And we have a problem, for the calling report we still see a blank page.  Tried reducing the subreport call object width too but no luck.

So the reality is do not use subreports in Report Builder.

Unfortunately, this is a known design issue. And I noticed that you have also post an idea in Power BI ideas. If the feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future. Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future. Please be patient.
