report builder - The connection either timed out or was lost

Report Builder connection times out on first startup.  Normally would get the 'The connection either timed out or was lost' popup, close that and hit run again and will run.  Can I assume that this is just a hissy fit on the server side to establish the session.

Now with a very simple one table report getting the following similar connection error but now need to close down the designer and restart.

And the error above in text so we can web search.

"

An error occurred during local report processing.

An error has occurred during report processing.

Cannot create a connection to data source

The connection either timed out or was lost.

The underlying connection was closed: The connection was closed unexpectedly.

"

Wondering why the change in error symptom?

Thanks for the reply Charlotte but not in the 'ball park' with any of those links.

The issue is while running the report builder designer tool.  And connecting to pbi premium dataset.   The error message and delivery of the error message has changed from popup to inline to the designer tool.  Also the just hitting the Run button is no longer working.  One has to close down report builder designer and go again.

Did you ever solve this? Was it after a region migration for the tenant by any chance?

I'm seeing this with all paginated reports connecting to live datasets post migration.
