real time data refresh use excel

hi experts, I want to create a dashboard in power bi that required to be able to refresh data in real time, and the data the pbix file using is come from excel, for example, whenever I create undate my data in the excel, and the power bi published should be updated either, and I want to make such a POC without paying the money for example microsoft product license,

do you have solution to help me achieve this?

Define what you mean by "real time" ?  If once an hour is enough then place the Excel file in a SharePoint Document library and use the SharePoint Folder connector.
