Hello community!
I've made my first report on powerBI and I truely love it . As all my colleagues. But now I 'm facing a problem ; the function "publish to web" has disappeared from the "file" menu ... Same for the "sharepoint" export..
"Publish to web" was there at the beginnng and I created a link ; then the function disappeared but the link was still working. But I wanted to understand why the function disappeared and I tried to delete the link to see how it goes. Well now the link is dead and I still do not have any "publish to web" or "sharepoint" function...
Can anybody help me please?
Thanks in advance for your support!
Best regards,
Laetitia

@s2mgroup Another alternative to them carrying their own license is that you cover it for them. You can set up Azure B2B with Power BI, thereby paying for their license.
Hi @s2mgroup,
I agree with @Seth_C_Bauer. If you have the admin account, you could have a check if you enbale the option for Publish to web under Admin portal.
If you have solved your problem, please always accept the replies making sense as solution to your question so that people who may have the same question can get the solution directly.
If you still need help, please describe your scenario in more details, such as your data source.

Hello,
Actually everything is right in the admin pannel, so it doesn't help.....
still cannot publish either on web or sharepoint ( we want to do sharepoint)
Any other idea to fix the problem? How do we activate the sharepoint function?
Thanks in advance..
Hi @s2mgroup,
What's kind of your Power BI account? Pro or Free?
As I know, the feature of Embed in SharePoint Online is for Pro license. Please check your license.

Hello everybody, Yeah you're right, so now I got the free trial of Pro version and I managed to publish on sharepoint , and now another problem : can I from there share it to my clients even if they don't have powerBI?!
I'm sorry for all theses questions but I cannot preperly find answers...
Thanks all for your precious support!

I'm afraid that your clients don't have Power BI Pro license may not have access to your report, because peer-to-peer sharing is for Pro license.
For reference, you could have a view of this document Free vs Pro comparison.

@s2mgroup What is the connection type you are using? (Import, Direct Query, Live)
@s2mgroup This would likely mean that your IT team or Power BI Admin team turned off the features that allowed you to do this. You would need to get permission granted now from that owner in order to do it again. "Publish to Web" is not safe for private data, so if you do have a reason to need it they should be able to make the exception.
