Hi Team,
I have been working with powerBI app and I want the app to be installed for all the persons under the organization. When I try to use "Install this app automatically", the Checkbox is greyed out.
When I hover over the chekbox I get a warning like "Your Organization has disabled this functionality"
I searched across the web and found that the "Push apps to end user" need to be enabled. Even though the option is enabled, the checkbox is still unavailable.
Is there any other options I need to enable for this option to available. Please enlighten me. Thanks
Regards
Fazil M

Hi M0hamedFazil
This option is only available if your sharing under Options is set to Specific Users or Group.
You can however create a group in Entra including all the users for whom you wish to install the app automatically for.

Hi @M0hamedFazil ,
I’d like to acknowledge the valuable input provided by Jonvoge . Their initial ideas were instrumental in guiding my approach. However, I noticed that further details were needed to fully understand the issue.
When you push an app to a security group, you may need to be a member of that security group in addition to being an owner for it to work properly.

Yes, I vividly remember that there was an option for tenant admins to prevent the automatic app install option. That setting has disappeared. I'd call that a bug.
Hey @lbendlin
Yes there was an option to prevent automatic installation from tenant settings and I have included the screenshot in the question.
