Is there a way to purchase more storage capacity using the Power BI Pro if we go over 10 Gbs?
@cmberard A way around this is to just spin up a PBI Group workspace. 10 GB's is allocated for each Group.
So you would have to buy a second license to gain another 10 Gbs and add the first and second license into a workspace group to have a sum of 20 Gbs of allocated space?
Yes I understand that, but is there any way to buy more Data Capacity if we need it?
@cmberard There is no public facing page that I am aware of that outlines how/where one would do that. I would open a ticket to request how one might do that, or reach out to your local MS rep to see the feasibility of getting more space added for a particular user.
Hello @Anonymous , please may I know if there are any updates on this issue? We are quite keen to subscribe to Power BI pro and we would like to know if there is an option for upgrading storage. Many thanks,
@KTP_UBS As I mentioned in my previous post, I don't know of this option being available. You would have to contact Microsoft directly. I personally don't see the need, but maybe I just haven't worked witht he scale of project that would require it. Group Workspaces are a great way to segment business divisions/reporting needs and each have a fresh 10GB of storage.
