'publish to web' option

1)Is it possible to restrict the 'publish to web' option on a per user basis? 

2)  when i turn off the pubish to web option in admin portal the content which is already published is not available below is the screen shot of the message is there a work around or any way to show the content even if  the "publish to web" option is turned off ?

Hi @VJ,

 

The answer to your two questions are NO currently. You can see from this article:

 

"This settings applies to the entire organization and cannot be limited to specific groups."

 

However, there is a good news. PG have started work on the feature which enable "publish to web" feature for a specific group. You can vote and comment on this same idea: Enable specific security groups setting for 'Publish to web'.

Hi @VJ

 

Unfortunately it is currently tentant wide. So it is either enabled for everyone in the organization or for no one.

 

I do know that it is in the works to change this so that you can enable or disable this per groups of users. But it is not there yet.
