HI All! I was hoping someone had an idea on how we could track the folks clicking a dashboard that is published to the web. I know that Power BI doesnt do any tracking and when I try to use google analytics I get an error message. Any insights on this topic would be amazing!

HI @nmck86,
Actually, usage metrics is good as for trace view information, current it not works on 'publish to web' contents, maybe you can try to use power bi embedded to instead.

Q: Will usage metrics capture views from embedded dashboards and reports?
A: Usage metrics currently does not support capturing usage for embedded dashboards and reports, including the user owns data flow, the app owns data flow and the publish to web flow. In those cases, we recommend using existing web analytics platforms to track usage for the hosting app or portal.
As Greg said, you can also try to use audit log to trace logs.
