1. Blocking Telemetry on Windows 10 and 11 Home Edition:
- If you're using the Home edition of Windows 10 or 11, you can't entirely disable telemetry. However, you can limit the data collection to the most vital information.
- Press Win + I to open the Settings menu.
- Navigate to Privacy & security > Diagnostics & feedback.
- Toggle off the option for Send optional diagnostic data. This way, Microsoft will only collect essential data related to your hardware and system settings¹.

2. Disabling Telemetry Using Group Policy Editor (Enterprise, Education, or Professional Editions):
- If you're using Windows 10/11 Enterprise, Education, or Professional editions, you can use the Group Policy Editor.
- Press Win + R, type gpedit.msc, and hit Enter.
- Navigate to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Data Collection and Preview Builds.
- Double-click Allow Diagnostic Data (or Allow Telemetry on Windows 10).
