hi there,
we are looking to implement a powerbi solution for several sales users, but our company requires them to login from certain ip address only.
i've purcahsed powerbi pro and azure ad premium license for testing.
my understanding is i can set this up through azure ad conditional access, but how do i actually set this up? is there any guide or overview for this? has anyone done this successfully?
on another note, can i incoporate okta SSO into this? or can i accomplish this by only using okta sso? since okta has ip restriction feature already, and this will work assuming okta sso enforce user to login through the okta sso login only (blocks the powerbi default login)
Hi @alpinefd,
As of now, Power BI itself wouldn't manage this. You could use the restrictions that are part of the logging into to Azure Active Directory to control this. What is conditional access in Azure Active Directory?
Besides, here is an idea for you to vote. restrict ip address in power BI for access
Best regards,
Yuliana Gu
