power bi service and desktop unable to refresh data, publish reports and load tables

Hi everyone

power bi has been having issues latetely, this time im unable to refresh my datasets they are stuck on load until there is a time out, i use a premium per user account

also im having problems with power BI Desktop, unable to load tables, publish reports and when i tried to work on another computer to see if something works i was unable to connect to my datasource.

i been having similar problems the las couple of months with power BI but i havent been able to find the root cause, i suspect this has to do with my data source (Google's Big Query) but i havent been able to identify the root cause or what to look for so i can tell my data source provider.

still that doesnt explain why i cant publish my reports with new measures to the power BI service, its Urgent that i am able to publish a report for a client.

There are many reasons why a refresh might fail. Have you looked at the more detailed messages that you can get by clicking "Show" in the screen you screenshotted?

yes there are two types of error on those messages:

• "The last refresh attempt failed because of an internal service error. This is usually a transient issue. If you try again later and still see this message, contact support."
• 'The scheduled refresh is cancelled because a new refresh is detected on the same database.'

Hi @Allegro ,

Please try the following methods:

A. Download the latest version of Power bi Desktop and re-publish it to Power bi services. 

The latest version of the desktop download URL. 

B. Remove the broken reports from the Service and re-add them.

1 - Open the report(s) in PBI Desktop and clear the cache (file...options and settings... options).

2 - Refresh the data in the desktop and save.

3 - Open PBI Service and remove the associated dataset(s). Also, you might want to make a note of the (failed) refresh schedule you had before doing this so you can recreate it exactly.

4 - Hop back to PBI Desktop and publish the report from PBI Desktop to Service.

5 - Hop back to PBI Service and set the refresh schedule back up.

hi, those didnt work, i tried contacting my data source provider and since i have been expiriencing the same problem, for a couple of days i could refresh my datasets once a day around midnight but not anymore my datasets keep getting stuck on refresh, i cant refresh from the desktop and when i try to publish new measures i lost data in the service because of it, i been having lots of problems with my clients since they dont have the info they need, for the las couple of months power bi have been having this kind of issues too frencuently, if there is something you could do that will be great
