power bi paginated report builder - how to align matrix columns of parent rows veritcally

Have a matrix with multiple parent groups.  Say a parentA > parentB > details grouping.

The parent rows display a piece of text and a placeholder value.  How to lign up vertically the placeholder values of both parents?

Using Arial font and can solve this using true type spaced fonts but looks bad.

From the screenshot below we can see that Directorate is parentA and Branch is parentB.  The placeholders are [Directorate] and [Branch Name] respectively for each parent row.  [Directorate] and [Branch Name] do not lign up perfectly vertically.  Have fudged this somewhat by changing the space character before the [Directorate] placeholder with a smaller font size.  Thus the whole line of characters are 10pt and the space before the placeholder is 8pt.
