power BI datasource is disabled

I recently got Power BI pro licence. i pulled my report and trying to schedule refresh, the data source settings is diabled. its asking for setup Gateway connection. i don;t have gateway connection link.All my files are on shared folder not on onprem

What data source does your report use? The files which be put in shared folder are report file or data source file? Where the shared folder located? 

In addition, it seems there is on-premises data source involved in your report as it required the gateway configuration... You can review the following documentations about the details of gateway and refer them to install and configure it.

The files are excel and csv format. The shared folder located on windows folder.

Since the data source is Excel and CSV files which located in Windows folder, it requires On-premises data gateway. You can refer the steps in the following blog to complete the installation of gateway and the configuration of data source in Power BI Service.

Could you give more details on what you mean by shared folder?

Is this a SharePoint folder or on a file share?

If on a file share you will need to install and configure the Gateway.
