paginated reports - please explain pagination sequence with multiple blank pages

More fun with paginated reports.  The video below highlights 2 pre pages and 1 post blank page.  Stop making sense paginated reports!

Department, Branch and MeasureId groups are hierarchical.

Department, Branch and MeasureID groups are set as below 'Between each instance of a group'

Thank you for your reply and link Meng Meng.  And yes blank pages preceding a section indicate PR trying to fit everything on one page.  But in this case two (2) preceding blank pages.  I suppose one clue is that Branch is displayed along with the body when PR computes to display the instance.  And second clue is that we have  the classic parent child hierarchy in Department then Branch so that also maybe one blank page for each instance.

We remind ourselves that this case is not the classic "'too wide for physical' page every second page is blank issue".

Hi @garythomannCoGC ,

If you want to fix the blank page issue in your report, please check the settings such as page size in your report. You can refer to this document to check your report settings. Avoid blank pages when printing paginated reports - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
