on premise gateway Invalid credentials
A client recently had this issue, and it ended up being an SSL certificate issue. The cert did not match the connection string used in the Power BI connection. Another workaround they found while not ideal would be to use a SQL login instead of Windows.

It should be working fine. Can you connect from your Gateway server to the SQL server?- rerangel8 years ago

Hi GilbertQ
Yes. the computer where the gateway is installed, has Windows 2012 server 64 bits. I have Sql SSMS and connect to de database without problem. I make querys and work fine.
In the domain controler is installed the Sql Server. My windows user has Domain admin credentials.
In the Power Bi Service the gateway appears ON LINE. no errors. I created the data Origins, to sql server, with windows credentials, get on line. Until here, everything just fine. piece of cake.
Buut when i go to the data set and try to refresh or the automatic schedule try to refres, get the invalid credential error.
I read the troubleshooting docs.
We dont have proxy.
Another says the SSL and must install personal gateway, wich i did, but same result.
So, i have not solve this mistery yet.
