on premise data doesn't run

Hi,

i have installed On-premises data gateway and i have configured the gateway and the sql connection in power bi service

but how open the gateway connection i cant choose use a data gateway.

Instead the gateway personal correct run

 

Why?

I tried On-premises data gateway without to install gateway personal but it doesn't run.

    marcobaciga First make sure data source you've added under data-gateway is of same name etc as you've used in your report example if you've used name of sql instance then you use same name under add data source for gateway and not ip. If it still doesn't work perhaps remoe that report and re-publish pbix file and provided data source is added under data-gateway it will automatically pick that up.
