not receiving email

Hi All,
I logged into one of the PowerBI Workspaces where we have datasets. Under the dataset's refresh settings-->'Send refresh failure notification to', I provided an Office 365 DL (distribution list), but I am not receiving any notification emails. However, when I use a mail-enabled security group, it works. Is there a limitation preventing DLs from working?"

Hi. I'm not an expert on office 365 but I'm pretty sure that the DL's only work as distribution list at outlook. They won't work for group of permissions at other apps.

Also consider checking if there are external emails on the list that could make it fail.

In addition, ensure that Power BI can send refresh failure notifications to your mailbox. Spam filters might block the email messages or move them into a separate folder where you might not notice them immediately.
