Why are these not visible when creating a report in the service? I use them, but only when I build in desktop.
. Thank you.

The (new) Card visual is in the Preview phase and is only available within the Power BI Desktop environment. This limitation is a common practice for features that are still under development, allowing users to test and provide feedback before a broader release. Although the (new) Card visual isn't directly available in the Power BI service, any (new) Card visuals created in Power BI Desktop can be published, making them visible in the Power BI service. This capability allows users to take advantage of the new features while ensuring compatibility and stability within the Service environment.

Hi @carmel316 ,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community Forum.
We completely understand your goal to streamline your reporting workflow. Using a single semantic model with multiple reports built in the service is an efficient approach, especially when managing everything under one refresh schedule.
The new Card visual is indeed well-suited for many applications, and we're hopeful it will be fully supported in the Power BI service soon. In the meantime, continuing to build those visuals in Power BI Desktop and publishing them is the best way to take advantage of the new functionality. Also thank you @andrewsommer for the response.

Thank you. I hope it becomes available soon. I'm trying to be efficient. 1 semantic and report published from Desktop with six additional reports built in the service. All on one refresh schedule. The visual is good for my application.
