hi, why does it appear that taking the exam is different from earning the certification at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/certifications/power-bi-data-analyst-associate/  ? .    also, i assume its $165 per try but how many times can you try?  Also is the embedded functionality part of the exam?

What that means is you take the exam and if you pass you get the certification.

 

As far as I know sometimes if you do not pass you can try again for a reduced fee.
