Just trying to figure out if this can be undertaken at the moment with Power BI.
I see alot of mapping information where the data models cater for region or state, but can it cater somehow for co-ordinates. (If map is dragged in from Bing / Google, I suspect it could somehow?)
I was wanting to 'map' a construction project. Essentially, the Rail project is say 15klms long. By setting up cordinates of the start and finish of the project, I was wanting to display this map on Power BI.
I could then relate Quality, NCR's, budgets, actuals, program issues with respect to areas on the project and all this could be displayed on the map.
This would be fantastic as you could hit a section or area of the map that falls under different management areas and you could see in an instant what KPI's are being met, the milestones and any concering issues.
Cheers,
This seems a perfect fit for the Synoptic Panel: http://synoptic.design/.
Excellent,
Thanks asocorro.
I will investigate it.
Cheers,
