Hi, we are comparing at least two connector products right now for getting sales fact and dimension data from our 2 netsuite erp instances to our dw sql server.
Almost by accident today someone suggested that power bi can do this. I'm assuming that would mean at least one license higher than pro and some sort of approach that leverages datasets , maybe pipelines etc.
Can someone in the community visualize somewhat high level how this can be done? Maybe using terms for the functionality i'd have to learn but then letting me go and do the research? There would be no dashboards or reports.
My head is fuzzy on the handshake (between netsuite and pbi) but also at how a dataset's data can be landed in sql staging tables without a dive into something like data factory. we havent done that dive yet. can ssis handle things on that end instead of df?
yes, but more importantly at a high level how.
Hi! Are you asking if Power BI can move data from Netsuite to your SQL Server?
