Hi,
In Pbi server, currently it is possible to create a copy of a report and using a name that already exists.
In the workspace, there will be then two reports with identical names.
Is there the possibility to warn and propose: 'report name alredy exist, do you want to overwrite ? '
Hi @Arnaud_R ,
I have noticed the differences between clicking the "Save a copy" option in report page and in content source page.
Maybe you could go to https://support.powerbi.com ,scroll down and click "CREATE SUPPORT TICKET" for further help.

Hi,
I indicated in power bi server, not desktop.
I confirm it does not work that way in pbi server and duplicate the reports with the same same.
Open the report:
Then in the workspace
Hi @Arnaud_R ,
From my test, when you click "Save a copy" and save it in the same workspace, the suffix (1) will be added to name of copyed report automatically.
But when you publish the same report again , there will be a warn mesage to let you confirm whether to replace the original one.
